ABB AI835A Analog Input Module for S800 I/O Systems

The ABB AI835A Analog Input Module is designed for the ABB S800 I/O platform, providing 8 differential input channels for thermocouple and millivolt (mV) signal measurement. Each channel can be configured individually to measure -30 mV to +75 mV linear signals or a wide range of thermocouple types, including B, C, D, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, and U.

One of the module's key features is Channel 8, which can be configured as a Cold Junction (CJ) compensation channel using a 4-wire Pt100 RTD, or used as a standard measurement channel when CJ compensation is not required. With 15-bit A/D resolution and built-in wire-break detection, the AI835A supports accurate temperature measurement and reliable signal monitoring for industrial process automation applications. It is suitable for new installations, system upgrades, and replacement projects within ABB S800 I/O systems.
